Iran's headscarf enforcement authorities apprehended actor Mohammad Sadeghi following his social media statements, in which he issued threats against morality police officers.
Sadeghi shared a video on Instagram expressing his frustration regarding the detainment of another woman by the morality police, based on her perceived violation of hijab norms.
"I must admit, witnessing such a situation might drive me to an extreme act," he stated in the caption of his video. "What is the purpose of your employment? To seize individuals' daughters and apprehend them in vans?
